SDCA Leadership

The South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association executive committee is made up of five individuals, the President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and Past President.

All SDCA leadership is nominated and selected by SDCA members. SDCA is made up of 14 local affiliates and 3 councils, a representative from each affiliate and council is elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The state is also divided into 5 regions; each region elects a Regional Vice President to serve as a representative on the board of directors.

Cory has farmed with his wife Leanne for 28 years. He also works with his nephews Kelly and Ben Endorf. The operation includes corn, soybeans, wheat and hay. Cory also has a cow/calf operation where he finishes his own calves. Cory and Leanne have two grown daughters, Rachel lives in Mitchell while Leslie lives in Sioux Falls. A 1981 graduate of SDSU with B.S. degrees in Agriculture Business and Ag Economics, Cory is lifetime member of Epiphany Catholic church and also served as past president of the Canova Co-op where he has also been a nine year board member.

Todd is a co-owner of Redstone Feeders an 8,250 head feedlot located near De Smet. Todd grew up in De Smet is married to Jean and they have three grown children: Nick, Nicole and Michelle. Todd has a cow/calf operation with his son, Nick. Todd is a 1981 graduate of Augustana College and a 1984 graduate of USD School of Law. He has practiced law for over 25+ years with emphasis on agricultural law and estate planning.

Todd purchases and sells Redstone cattle marketing 20,000 plus cattle a year. He also is involved in purchasing of feed requirements for Redstone Feeders facilities as well as handling the risk management operation for the business.

Jeff is the 4^th generation to live on and operate his family’s farming and ranching operation near Newell. Jeff’s wife Kim and his parents Steve and Kay are all involved in the business. They predominately raise Angus cattle, alfalfa, oat, and grass hay. Jeff and Kim have one daughter, Marlee (born in 2003), and Trey (born in 2006).

In 2007, Jeff was the VP for the Black Hills Cattlemen and also sat on the Board of Directors for SDCA. He was also the 2007 SDCA representative at the Young Cattlemen’s Conference. He is currently the Vice Chair for the Federal Lands Committee.
