CSP sign-up begins this week           
       
Farmers and ranchers can begin signing up for the voluntary NRCS Conservation Security Program this Friday, April 18. CSP rewards and encourages the use of conservation practices such as stripcropping, to protect natural resources.

This year, CSP payments will be available to 64,000 potentially eligible farms and ranches in 51 watersheds covering 23.7 million acres. That would bring the number of watersheds enrolled to 331 across the US, covering 247.7 million acres.  Sign-up runs through May 16
