Jodie Hickman Anderson grew up on a ranch in Haakon county and considers Pierre her hometown. After graduating from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Agricultural Business, Jodie lived and worked in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana before returning to the Pierre area.
With more than 10 years of association management experience, Jodie is actively involved in legislative and regulatory issues and she works closely with local, state, and national industry leaders to provide opportunities for grassroots advocacy.
In her “spare” time, Jodie is an active participant in her family’s ranch in Haakon county and she is a principle in 3J Cattle Company. In 2010, Jodie was instrumental in helping bring the Leopold Conservation Award to South Dakota and served as the state’s Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) coordinator for 4 years. Her resume also includes experience at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, the American National CattleWomen and the Dakota Value Capture Cooperative.

Janna Hickman Reeves grew up on a ranch northwest of Hayes, SD and graduated from high school in Pierre. She attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion for two years before moving to Fort Collins and graduating with a B.S. in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University.
After college, Janna lived and worked on the family ranch in Blackwell, Texas before returning to her South Dakota home in 1997. She worked for a short time in and around Pierre before marrying Jim Reeves and moving to his family ranch south of Eagle Butte. Jim and Janna ranched with his family until 2004 when they moved back to her home place in Haakon County with their two children.
Jim and Janna are principles with Jodie Hickman Anderson in 3J Cattle Company in addition to helping manage the cattle operations of Hickman Livestock. Trista Willert is originally from Cavalier, North Dakota, a small farming community. Our family has managed buffalo on our ranch near Cavalier, ND for nearly 40 years. I grew up with plenty of other four legged friends around the farm. We raised cattle mostly and did rodeo every chance we could. Fast forward the past twenty years, I've lived from Wyoming to Colorado, Texas to Brookings, South Dakota where I now call home. My husband is a Chiropractor and we are raising 4 amazing boys to love the land as much as our parents helped us.
