Cattlemen working for Cattlemen
Defending Cattle producers and members of the beef industry within South Dakota is the main objective of the South Dakota Cattlemen's Association. We are a grass roots non-profit membership organization advocating on behalf of members to ensure cattle production remains relevant, safe, & a sustainable way of life for generations to come.
SDCA staff and leadership represent the interests of members, serving in their respected positions and as cattlemen, working for cattlemen.
SDCA Member Recruitment Incentive!
Many organizations promote themselves by saying, “Membership has its perks.” At the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association, we’ve traditionally had a couple of those perks. One of those perks is access to top industry experts and officials that can communicate current information on any and every subject surrounding the cattle industry. Another, and most important perk, is having your voice heard on policy that is communicated back to those experts and representatives in government regarding what we need to see happen in order to succeed in this business. Now, we’re adding a new, slightly more eye-appealing perk. The SDCA staff and board members can and will continue to work hard to recruit new association members. But what better way to recruit members, than to have the existing membership talk to their neighbors? When you as a member recruit a new individual, you’ll receive an embroidered SDCA hat, as well as recognition in this magazine and at the annual convention. Simply use the pdf form at SDCattlemen.org under the membership button at the top, and fill in your name on the blank that lists whom the new member was recruited by. Of course, you don’t have to stop at just one member. After all, the more we are, the more we can cooperate on ideas that work for everyone, and the louder we can be!
