Producer Membership
Formed in 1948, the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association (SDCA) was established to ensure the voices of South Dakota’s cattle producers are heard. Built by cattlemen, for cattlemen, SDCA has a long history of standing up for the cattle business. Today, the association continues the work created by our founders through advocating for producers and strengthening the opportunities for South Dakota’s cattle and beef industry.
SDCA is a grassroots organization driven by our membership. A membership with SDCA gives you a direct voice in shaping policy and priorities. When you join SDCA, you’re claiming your seat at the table, standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow producers to advocate for the cattle business at the state and national levels.
SDCA is driven by producers focused on progress. The strength of our organization comes from those who are willing to lead with an appreciation of our history and a responsibility for our future. Through innovation, stewardship, and leadership, members carry forward the legacy established by those who came before us while preparing the industry for those who will follow us.
Built by cattlemen and powered by participation, SDCA is your association.
